I did some communicating with CX about these shafts.  They are 10.6 gpi with weight forward technology.  I was curious if anyone knew to what degree the weight was forward?  How much does it change the foc?

I have some rebels. Full length w/feathers and alum. insert. Balanced perfect in the middle. The camo does not cover the full length. Makes it look like it wouold be weight forward but not for me.

I shoot the rebel hunters, the whole "weight forward" claims are there, just not what we're used seeing, roughly 1-2 grains over a 3" distance.

Nice for marketing, minor effect on performance.  The rebels are a great arrow for the money, though - I can get them locally for less than the Heritage series.

I agree with wihill,  most of the carbon shafting with weight forward claims are primarily marketing IMO.  The weight forward gains are minimal compared to what you could acheive simply by adding a bit of point weight, and for pennies on the dollar compared to the expense of the shafting.  On the other hand you would expect those shafts to be a bit stronger up front, which would be a good thing.

Carbon shafting doesn't have to be expensive, we have some excellent CE 45/60's at barely over $4 a shaft.

Very good value shaft. I know for sure that they go through elk!
