Is now out and what a great magazine it is.  Arrow building, bow building and more.

Plus the article on page 37 WI Trad Bunny Romp.  This was the hunt that we had back in Jan.  I feel it is an honor to be mentioned in this issue.  Get your copy now.

Wannabe1

Paul, where does one pick a copy of this magazine up at? Would like to get one.

A must read is Little Tree's, "Self bows- Bending Static Recurves" also which Brad sponsors "What is Bo-Jam?"  Which I hope to attend this year.

Thanks for the kind words, Paul. Special thanks go to Brad "Little Tree" Merkel for sharing his "Self bows- Bending Static Recurves" story, Jack Harrison for his step-by-step article on making a one piece longbow into a takedown, to George Tsoukalas for his "Nock! Nock!" story on building self nocks, and Dan Little for his "cresting classification" story. There also are stories on achieving better accuracy, overcoming target panic, bow profile by Blacky Schwarz, a couple of "average Joe" hunting stories and much more. The Premier Issue of TradArchers' World is available via subscription at  www.tradarchersworld.com.

PS: I'm encouraging "veteran" hunters to submit "first traditional harvest" stories to share with the readership for the Summer issue of TradArchers' World (printed early June). I think it will be interesting reading about the different paths taken to achieving that goal.
I'd also like to see more traditional archery enthusiasts become more involved in sharing their experiences, knowledge, photos, art and wit with their fellow tradarchers in this magazine.
Sincerely, Tom Colstad

If you subscribed today, is it too late to receive the spring issue? I tried to renew a couple months ago, but the website wasn't working. Not sure when my Bowyer's Journal subscription ended.

suburbanirma

Steve,
The Web site works now for subscriptions and the Spring issue will be available until about May 1. All Bowyer's Journal subscribers whose subscriptions lapsed with 2008-4th issue were mailed the 2009-1st issue of TradArchers' World. Tom

When did the first issue mail?

My wife renewed my Boyers Journal subscription for Christmas, but I haven't seen the new magazine.

Looks like a great magazine.

Is your website secure for on-line ordering?  I couldn't tell from looking at the site.  Thanks!

Not unless it had expired.

I just received my Premier Issue of TradArcher's World today and I'm impressed!!!!

Looks like Tom has really followed through on his promisse to make the magazine better than ever.  If you liked the Bowyers Journal I think you're going to love this one!!  It's jam packed with all kinds of good looking articles and information.

Tom does say that he is "Looking for Lost Subscribers"  He says there are some discrepancies between the subscriber lists he received from Brian and is working hard to sort them out.  Here is his promise:
"TradArcher's World will honor any and all paid subscriptions to The Bowyer's Journal and will mail back issues of that magazine to those subscribers who should have received them."

Can't ask for more than that!  If you think you might be a "discrepancy", give Tom a call or drop him an email.

I see an E-magazine is offered on the Tradarchers World web page.  What is that?  Are the current issues available on-line?  I could not find a link for subscribers.
Thanks!
