Well I gave $125 for it. So if I add another $100 it will still be a good deal.

After shooting a Quinn Stallion I stopped looking.    For me it's the one.

If it is the Acadian Woods recurve Shane, you didn't get a good deal, you got a great deal.

Take down or one piece?

RERBOWS Rivers edge recurves, either their Arroyo in a one piece or a T/D XR. These bows are very quick, very quiet and Kevin and Sue are great to deal with. The craftmanship is seond to none as well!! Shawn

Billy, your right it was a great deal. It is a one piece. I just came back from a meeting at Toledo Bend yesterday went to get the bow and the guy GAVE it to me. He would not take any money. Just asked for a pack of deer sausage. I almost fell on the floor. I hope to bring it to Thistlewaite for the shoot but do not know if I will be in town.

Shane,

Are you living right or what?  What did you give up for lent that scored that big?  That guy might rate sausage for a couple of years!!!  I would like to see it at Thistlewaite.

Does your company have a policy about weapons and bows in company vehicles?  Can you shoot while on the road in the evenings with daylight savings time?

Good luck in that far off north country of Kansas and be safe on the road.

If I wanted a new recurve I'd build myself a T/D hybrid.  Teasing!!  :saywhat:

I'd have to advise you to shop the Robertson Stock bow page especially if you cant wait long. Do you lack the ability to postpone gratification? Sadly, most of us (men)do!  :goldtooth:    ;)

Other than that I'd say peruse TBM adds, web-sites etc and see what strikes your fancy.

If you can get to a shoot bring a bunch of different arrows so something will fly good out of each bow you may want to try.  And dont worry about where your arrows impact too-much at first (tuning will be off so it's largely irrelevant) but think more about how the fit and manners are after the shot. You will know!!

Check out the Toelke line up too. (Web-site).
Hope this helps.
