i see the synopsis says the broadhead must have a minimum width of 7/8". nothing is said about whether stone points are legal.

If the synopsis doesn't forbid the use of stone/bone points, I would think that they would be legal to hunt with.

Stop in at the Conservation Officers Offices and ask them if you want to be absolutely sure. Their offices on Van Horne Street, I think.

I can't see a problem as long as the point meets the legal requirements for width, and is not "barbed"

If I remember my BC reg's, I think tht other than the minimum width, and the barbed bit, it is pretty open.

They outlawed poison and/or drug bearing arrows, and any "explosive" head. I have never seen such an contraption, but I suppose someone did get caught with sonething of that nature.

A fellow I went to school with, his father used to bow hunt with a long bow, and his "broadheads" were home made, but I really can't remember what they were like. I think he used the blade from a large metal cutting bandsaw.
