My cousin Ray & I played hookey & did some shed hunting & scouting. We found no sheds, but plenty of sign. We managed to kill some stumps too. Some pics.

Behold the mighty power of the Bigriver longbow. A future stump WAS harmed in this outing.

Looks like you all had a great day shooting.  My son Tyler came running across our field this evening yelling "Dad, I found a deer horn!"  I can search for days and not find one and my 7 yr. old can go out in our field in ten minutes and find a nice shed. Go figure.
God is good, all the time!!!

We found LOTS of buck sign, tracks & droppings. The browsed areas were unreal, like I have never seen. The property is for sale & I am first in line. Too bad my oldest will be wasting my money for college!

Rub lines on a few ridges.

More rubs than I have seen for a few years.

Cool pics, nice rub line. Yup, had those exact same bibs, bought in 87. Can you say flashback!

Looks like you folks had a great day. Great pictures with plenty of sign. Nice lookin' bows right there too. By the way I too still have my "Vintage" Original Tree  Bark Camo. It's like an old friend to me. One last comment, that's why I love to hunt power lines too.

They sure were comfortable hunting gear, like a comfy pair of jammies.

My goal is to be able to fit in them every year, then I am ok to go elk hunting  :bigsmyl:

I don't know if you even care but those rubs that are 2 inchs or bigger means those bucks are 3 1/2 or older.Bucks only rub where they feel safe at.And it  tells his whole pattern before and after the RUT.Sorry but I lose my mind when it comes to deer scouting.
