Just thought I'd share my trad quiver that I finally finished. The quiver is made from javelina hide. I got the hide from a fellow trad ganger, DesertDude       . After I trimmed the hide into an even shape, I laced the top with black dyed deer leather. To help stiffen it up, I used a piece of bamboo rod. The strap is  actually one strip of leather that I cut and then braided so that it holds a bit better. With the broadhead sleeves, it's actually pretty quiet and doesn't drop arrows. I'm going to try it out next Sunday when I go hunt a ram down in Texas!     Sorry about the photo directon, photobucket wasn't cooperating.

What say you quiver gurus?

Very nice.  The perfect quiver to take down to Texas.
The season gave him perfect mornings, hunter's moons and fields of freedom found only by walking them with a predator's stride.

In the beginner's mind there are many possibilities. In the expert's there are few...So the most difficult thing is always to keep your beginner's mind...This is also the real secret of the arts: always be a beginner.  Shunryu Suzuki
