What's the max draw on a bow like that? Great work, I love the looks of it.

That's a great bow! It's the one I've been trying to build for going on 20 years.
One of your pics seems to show that there's little to no real handle on this thing, only generous fades of 3 or so inches either side of the geographic center. Is that accurate? More working limb, less static handle...very smart.
Great, great bow!

thanks kwahe.....actually it has a 12",but its only 1" thick at the center in the riser, thats before its glued in....thanks for the comments....do you also build boo back and belly bows?    robustus

the lines on that bow are perfect!  well done james.  not many bowyers out there that can build a bow like that and draw it to 30".  i know because i've tried.  again, great job and put my name on the order list.  you know i have to have one.

I talked to James earlier this evening and he was pulling this bow to 33" just to see if it could take it...and it did!!!
How many will that make Cade?

Thank you James....Yes, I have built several bamboo-backed bows...no boo bellies, yet. All have been either hickory or osage bellies. None draw anywhere near as cool as yours. My 48" bows stack at about 24" draw. I guess it's a design flaw I haven't figured out yet.
Anyway, your bow is a model and an inspiration, as in: "this can be done!" So, back to the drawing board with new hope! Any further secrets you're willing to part with would be more than welcome.
Thanks for sharing that great bow with us.
