Thank you Gene and everyone here. The dediction I wrote in my book was to show her my love and appreciation. I did not realize that it would strike such a personal spark with so many. I really do appeciate the gesture suggested by Gene, but please only get a copy of the book if its something that truly interests you and you feel the work stands on its own merit.
In leu of flowers, if you feel so compeled please donate to your favorite charity.
My family is built on strong faith and we will all do fine. Thank you all so much for your kind words on this thread and on many personal messages over the past several months. Mike

Mike, all of your "Brothers of the Bow" are with you and your family.  
I will pray for you and your family.  Though I didn't know Paula personally, I know she was a wonderful person because she unselfishly understood your need to seek out wilderness.  In your book, you talk about never really feeling alone, that your family was always with you.  So, you know she still with you.  We are here for you.

Mike, I'm very sorry for your loss. I had a great friend 25 years ago that fought the same battle with multiple myeloma (sp).. I know first hand the pain and struggles that it causes.  Beyond the disease the loss of the love of your life is horrible. Others have survived this and I have no doubt that you will as well My prayers are with you and childen..

PS: I have your book and am reading it now. What a wonderful effort by all involved. I can't imagine any bowhunter not being moved by it.
