I shoot a HH longbow 50# at 24" Sitka spruce 40-45 spine with a 160gr tip. What size carbon will work for me? TIA...

I think I would do a search on the gold tip 3555 and maybe the 600 spine gold tip if you don't want a lot of weight on the tip.  I am not an expert but I bet you will find a good combo if you use the search.

you said the bow is 50 at 24 inch draw and or are you saying you draw 24 inch and the peak bow weight at that length of draw is 50 ?????

I have several bow that peak as measured by the mfg at 50 lb at 28 inch draw length. I draw 28 1/2 and use the bemen or easton 500 size spine with 125 gr points. I think this would do you well.

Are you a member of sand dune archers of Mytle beach ????

I go down to Myrtle beach for Jan and Feb each year and stay at Rip tide 29th ave North or the Sea dip motel 26 ave North....

CX Heritage 150s will probably work quite well for. You will probably have to play around with the length of the arrow and weight up front until you get it right. But 150s should work well...  ;)

Vapor 2000 or GT 35-55 would be my choice.

Even the .600 carbons spine about 10 pounds heavier than the woodies your shooting.  I believe those are your best option and I'd leave those long and be ready to put some point weight up front.

We have the Carbon Express 20/40's in the .600 in stock and I believe Gold Tip is coming out with a .600 as well.

Both the 35/55's and Heritage 150's spine about .500 for your reference.

ST Epics in the 600 spine. Cut to about 28"(assumimg your true draw is 24") and 150 grain tip should get you in the ball park. Any spine heavier than that and your going to have to use a ships anchor for a tip.
