55#@28" 60"amo and shoots really well. This bow has excellent cast and delivers a great wallup at the destination it hits. I really love everything about this bow. The profile is very modern with a touch of class. The feel is a very classic grip with a low cut and center cut shelf. It was very easy to find an arrow it likes. Luckly it seems to like anything I have.

For hunting to have a future, we must invest ourselves in future hunters.

Tim Fishell

Yeah I hear ya Dave but the poundage just wasnt right.  If you get a new set of limbs for it in the 55# range then I might be interested!

Yes Tim, I'm with ya on the 55# limbs. I believe 55# limbs would be more ideal on mine, too. I know as I get older, I will probably have to come down in draw weight from what it is now. Mike at Predator bows says I can trade for any limbs that were made from '96 though present and they will fit my '96 model.

Whitebuffalo, that's a fine example of a Predator you got there. You should be very pleased to have it.

Sweet Curt,,I had this bow in mind when I baught them so I'm really excited. Tim??,, Tim who??,,oohh, that fella with all the shrews,,LOL,   :readit:      :saywhat:

If anyone can see the leatehr between the limb pads,,I do that on all of my takedowns now. I have a firefly that came to me like that and I kinda adopted that since I have some leather around. It really keeps those bows from creeking or being to lound.

Great Bow choice ! Hard to find a better Bow in all respects.

whitebuffalo

Thanks fellas,, Bubinga and grey maple, purple heart stripe with maple accents around that I was unsure of the flat black limbs and riser but they really set this whole bow off. Its got a dark side to it,,LOL,,

Eric,, this bow is very similar to the super K's in feel for sure and the riser has that classic look. The craftsmanship is top notch and spotless. Pictures don't so it justice for sure. The leather just deadens that predator thump,, If you have heard a predator shot they have their own sound, they aren't load but the leather makes for an even quiter thump. I'm not sure what the exzact FPS is but this bow seems very quick.. I just noticed to day the trajectory is flat and true even with the big arrows.

Hey 'Whitebuffalo' - I just bought one of these bows today.  They are truly amazing.  I only had time to put about half a dozen shots through her, but will spend time on the range tomorrow, getting acquanted with it.

I think these may be the best kept secret in archery.

One hour of life, crowded to the full with glorious action .... is worth whole years of those mean observances of paltry decorum, in which men steal through existence, like sluggish waters through a marsh, without either honor or observation
