Well, I've dragged around for the last few days with the flu, feeling like I been run over by a truck.  Yesterday,  I heard the mail man honk in the driveway and went out to find my new Pronghorn had arrived!  I don't know if I'm cured of the flu, but I sure feel alot better after getting my new toy all tuned up.  Specs on the bow are 51#@27"  60" long.  Bow has a grey actionwood riser and dirty bamboo limbs stained to match. It likes Gold Tips 3555 cut at 28" with 225gr. up front.  This thing is butter smooth and dead in the hand.  Mr. Meland is a class act and great craftsman to boot.

Congrats for finding a cure to the flu but don't think the CDC (center for disease control) will endorse it LOL. Great looking bow, the Pronghorn I had was a very good bow, yours is really sweet looking, matches mine excpet that I did not have the boo stained to match. Herb is a fine man and bowyer.

Those three piece pronghorns are still some of the smoothest feeling bows that I've ever shot.

Good for you Fritz!!  She's a beauty!!  I've been stuck in the house with the flu myself for the last few days.  That sure is some good medicine....enjoy!

I'm bringing this back up to let you know how great a guy Mr. Herb Meland is.  Originally, when I ordered this bow I wanted actionwood limbs to match.  I called him to change my order to all bamboo limbs and somehow there was a miscommunication.  When I recieved my invoice,  he had built the actionwood limbs instead of the bamboo.  I called him and he apologized for the mistake and said he would correct it.  Within 2 weeks I had my bow just like I wanted it.  I emailed him the other day to find out what kind of string he had sent with the bow so I could get a replacement built.  Yesterday, I recieved a new string from him with a note to enjoy the bow and no charge for the new string. A great craftsman, who builds a great bow, and provides great personal service! What more could you ask for?

Fritz, I really enjoy my Pronghorn also. I will 100% agree with you about Mr. Meland. When I talked too him on the phone about my bow, I picked it up used, he was very happy too answer all my questions and even gave me some tips for tuning it up and what it likes in the way of an arrow. Definitely a man who cares about his customers.

By the way, beautiful bow!
