My Buddy Chris aka"Landshark160" went to Stewart today . Got his pass and hit the woods about 12:30.At 12:50 we were looking at porkers. We managed to get close and both of us were near getting shots then two pigs stepped around the thicket and walked up to 7-8 steps of me and spooked.I was standing and about to drop the bomb on another porker at about 5 yards when these two unseen pigs messed it up.

We looped on through the swamp and worked our way back to the Truck. We were gonna ride to another side of the area we were hunting and spotted some pigs in a bottom. We circled to get the wind and headed for`m. We both were within ten yards but it was thick and we could`nt get a shot. There were about ten of them and one spooked and they went a little ways. I moved up some and took a twenty yard shot on one of the smaller ones lagging behind. The arrow went exactly where I was looking.

I know I know the pig was not there when the arrow got there. Been there done that  :knothead:  at least that is what would happen to me.

They don't go far when shot like that one!  Good job buddy!  You need to slow down, cause I'm way behind.
I didn't claw my way to the top of the food chain to eat vegetables!

We skinned him on the spot and headed to the truck. Made another loop in another area and saw about 4 or 5 deer. Drove around to another spot and did a quick hunt there before heading home. Picked up a shed

Found this tree that has had a ruff time of it but is still headed for the sky...

Found this pic from our hunt last Friday on a WMA near home. Kinda coolRC

Forgot to mention that when we got to the truck we shot a can for about ten minutes then headed home. Got in the truck drove less than a 100 yards and a pig was rooting in the road.We pulled up to him and several more were about ten yards in the woods. Prospects for next week..RC

NCH, that's actually the rest on my bow.  It's a feather rest.
