Does anyone out there know the recommended brace height for a 66 inch Ben Pearson Pinto recurve?  If so what is a stating height?  Thanks

Hi,

I had 2 Pinto's and I used to set the brace height to ~7 3/4". It is possible though that you have to adjust that until you find the "sweet spot".

V-Archer,  Thanks, that's exactly what I ended up on. (7 3/4).  The bow does seem to like that the best.

Blackhawk

Yes, 7.5" - 8" is in the ball park.

Does your Pinto favor this 1962 version?

Lon,  The one I have here has the bump outs on the back of the bow.  Don't know if they have a name but are the "pointy" protrusions on the back above and below the bow handle.  Kind of like built in stabalizers.  I'd post a picture but am technologically challenged.
