I just stumbled across this and like to hear your opinions about it.  Any chance it would work if it was made bigger?     Link  to original thread.

Sorry if this is a re-post.  I saw it yesterday too.  Just thought I'd post it up here for those that missed out.

Pretty neat though right?

They actually make, or made that same idea pop up blind many years ago, I have one in my garage, it is a vinyl mirror like material on a strong material backing and rolls up to a small tube

I noticed there are no pictures of one out in the sun....they have to flash I would think.

There was a similar concept many years ago that was just a 2-3 fold open type deal. . . have not seen them in a while. Interesting concept.

Bears can attack people- although fewer people have been killed by bears than in all WWI and WWII combined.

I would imagine if you brushed it in super good and made it so the sun would never directly hit that thing, you could get away with it, but once the sun hit it and reflected a bright beacon back across a field they would be deemed useless.

Biggie Maybe that is why the  walls lean inward to stop the reflection.Kip

You could start the woods on fire with that when the sun shines on it.  :biglaugh:

Downfall is if you drop it off the tail gate and break all those mirror's, how many years of bad luck is that????

As mentioned above there was a similar concept that someone posted about awhile back.  It was like a large sheild that you put in front of you.  There was a story/testimonial about a guy hunting antelope with one.  Started a couple hundred yards away and kept inching his way forward with the big mylar mirror in front of him. I remembered it being kinda cool at the time.  Those big boxes seem like they would be kinda akward, not too portable, would almost end up being permanent stand.
