Does anyone know what poundage bow these arrows would work for? also do they make 100 gr brass inserts for these thank you.

Jwilliam

I shoot them out of my 50-52# bows. 29 1/2" arrow, with 100gr. brass insert, and 145gr. field points. 3 Rivers has the 100gr. Hit inserts.

Yep, my 50# bows like them at 30" with 225gr in them - almost the same as Jwilliam's.

I shoot 29" Beman 400 Classic's out of 50# to 62# at 27" bows. 100 grain inserts and 125 grain heads. They work great for me and are very tough as well.

I shoot them out of my 61# Shawnee Dakota with 400 grains up front cut to 28". These are very stiff arrows. It took a 300gr head and 100gr insert to bare shaft these arrows. If you shoot under 55# and have a draw under 27" go with the 500's. Good luck

I use them out of a 53# recurve, cut to 29 1/2 with 300gr up front. They do make a 100gr brass hit insert. The same arrow does not fly out of my 63# bow. I find the skinny shafts are good for the weight set up you tune them for, vary more than 5#'s and you need different spine shaft. If you go to say a 55/75 GT you can shoot them out of a greater poundage variation. The 55/75 fly great out of all my bows from 60# up to 75# with 300gr up front.

On my 54 and 56# BW I shoot them at 30in with my 27in draw and 225grs of tip weight for a 560gr arrow, but I usually hunt with the 500's at 28in and same tip weight and they weigh 520grs.  Both bare shaft tune out the same on my bows.  Mark
