I ordered my first custom Bow yesterday, and I don't mind admitting that, at 44yrs, I was excited.

So now a day passes.....and I'm MORE excited.

Hence my question.  Does the wait get better.....or worse?    :knothead:     :D

You are in big trouble.  You haven't even begun your journey yet.  Wait til you start second guessing your wood choices.  LOL.  Good luck with the wait.  It is worth it every single time.

better after a week or so...keep telling yourself you can't rush it and ya get used to it..
That's how it was for me anyhow..why fret over something out of your control?

If any of you get your new bows in.....just keep it between yourselves, via PM's.

I don't wanna have to look at that CRAP!      :D

I bought one from the classifieds a couple weeks back and the wait over the weekend for it to get here just about killed me and it was for my son!!    :archer:

I have trouble wait for a used one to show up.Could not take waiting on one to be built.:)And yes it gets better. You buy other bows to keep your mind off any waiting.Pretty soon you forget you are waiting on a bow.  :D

The worst part is when they tell you it has shipped. You stare longingly at every USPS or UPS truck you see!

Ha! Not me.  I drive right to the post office and tell them I've got one coming. They call me when it gets there.  Course, my Ghost came UPS.  I spent 4 days watching that brown truck drive by.  Ugggghhhhh.....

No... It doesn't get better. You can't order and forget, and the bows you have just won't quite do until the new one arrives.   :(    :help:  I'm waiting on one now...

I couldn't tell ya, all mine were in stock !!

Adam, where do you find left handed bows in stock???

After its shipped, does anybody find themselves watching the weather to see if it might slow the trucks down????

I always call a customer when I ship a bow.  Maybe that is a mean thing to do.  Listening to you guys I might be better off to leave it as a surprise.  hehe
Now then, get your weapons ~ your quiver and bow ~ and go out to the open country to hunt some wild game for me.  Gen. 27.3

Actually, both better and worse.
First it will get better.  It starts seeming like a long ways off, and you tend to think of other things.  But then the date starts getting closer and it creeps back into your mind more and more often.  That's when it starts to get worse.

When I was in my bow buying frenzy it seemed if I had a bow on order I was less tempted by the classifieds or in stock listings.  So I always looked at it as if I was saving money by having one on order.

Yeah, I had it bad!   :knothead:
