How are the quality of these compared to Trueflight? Thanks.  BILL

IMHO I sometimes think they are whats left of the feather after Truflite cuts theirs.

Grey Taylor

They grind their quills differently. Other than that I don't see any difference in functionality. They steer an arrow just fine.

Guy
Tie two birds together; though they have four wings, they can not fly.

TomMcDonald

They're better.
Stiffer (which I happen to like), better cuts, easier to work with.

Divinecedar

I have found that Gateway feathers are considerably less durable than Tru-flight and their barring is not as aesthetically appealing.

trueflight makes a more traditional feather much nicer color schem. when I started making arrows I used gateway I liked the wide land. it made it easier for me to work with. I was new at this I had glue everywhere .I have gotten a little neater .the land on the truflight is smaller an smoother. If your the type that is real maticulas go with trueflight.as far as strenth there all gettin lost or broke or shotoff anyway

Trueflights for me after using both. Seem to stay on my arrows better for whatever reason.

Nothing against Gateway. Just noticed that my Trueflight fletched arrows seem to hold up better over the long haul.

I know it doesn't answer the question but the only ones I use are from Custom Feathers, a sponser here.  Wild turkey are IMHO by far the best.
