What's your favorite carbon arrows and why? I like the Beman Classics in a 500 but am thinking of going to the 400 and loading up the front.

Only ones I've tried are GrizzlyStik, which are seriously tapered to the back and give excellent EFoC. Never shot carbons before and the consistency, thus accuracy, is truly impressive.

I've been shooting Beman ICS carbons since 2001. They work extremely and I've never had a problem with them.

I have only tried GTs and CEs. I like the CE250s with 225gr upfront. They have the wood finish...so it pacifies my love for wood...kind of. Still love making and shooting wood. But the accuracy is impressive like Dave stated. The CEs have been pretty durable also. I have had great results in bareshaft tuning these also.

I went with the Easton Axis only because it's still made in the USA, at least thats what I was told by the guy at the local archery shop . He stocks several brands and he said the Axis was the only one made here. I had to ask him for that little tid bit.

Beeman MFX for me. Tough as old boots & a cinch to tune well. Penetration is beyond belief compared to the bigger shafts too.

axis 400 and 500's with 100 gr brass insert and anywhere between 125 and 300 on point wt depending on what bow I am using. I do not like the newer Nano ones as much as they make noise on the draw. I'll have to figure that out

wihill

CX and GT for value/everyday shooting.

Easton Axis/FMJ is my perfered hunting arrow profile.

Has anyone tried the new Traditional Only carbon arrows offered by 3 Rivers?  I had a chance to see the prototypes beforehand when my dad purchased his new Tomahawk SS and they are a nice looking arrow.  They utilize a regular insert system, as well as the Easton H nock.  They are manufactured by Easton and "Made In The USA".
