Would someone please look at the picture below and tell me if my arrows are left helical or right helical? I am wanting to get a fletching jig and I will need to know what clamp I will need to buy.

Also, do I use left wing feathers for fletching left helical arrows?
Thanks for your help.

yes you use left wing helical clamp for left wing feathers.  I will do a search and find out what you got their because I can't remember the specifics on that.

You have a picture of an arrow fletched with right wing feathers. If you look from the nock end if it goes right it is right helical if left it is a left helical. If you are going to start from scratch with a new fletching jig it really doesnt matter so long as you buy feathers to match your jig.

Correct me if I am wrong but if you want to shoot the Grizzly broadheads with right bevel you need the right wing feather, just something to consider.  Mr Sam Fadela said it don't matter wich helical feather you shoot. Don't matter if you are right or left handed.

I agree with LABowhunter it is right wing

Fletcher

Yup, RW feather fletched right helical.  Nock is indexed different, tho.  Maybe that is the BW 12 o'clock cock feather.

Absolutely, match the helical with the feather, and the feather with the bevel. Years ago I was instructed by one of the Archery Greats to shoot left-wing because I'm right handed and that would help the fletch spin away from the riser for a cleaner launch. For years I shot only left wing. But not anymore  :bigsmyl:  Match em, fletch em, shoot em!

Yes fletcher, that's the BW 12 o'clock cock feather. I originally used these same 2314 arrows with a BW model MAB back in the '90s. I use them with my Predator II now. I think I will start using left helical now though, but with the same nock index.
