Some of the guys over on the Trad History/Collecting forum. I am not going to name, names for fear of missing one of them. Started and continue to sell what was left in Jack Howards shop. With all proceeds going to Jacks wife

Some how I became the new owner of supposedly, and I see no reason it is not.

Jack's last new in the shop, Hunter Left Hand model. It is a nice square 62"x62# and a beautiful bow. It just arrived compliments of my mail man.

Like a little kid Christmas morning, I pouched upon it to open the package. An here is what I found

Jack did not actually make this bow. He had them made by Damon Howatt. They arrived unfinished, and he completed them with his logo's and finish.
There where only around 50 of these built, with a small percentage of LHer's. So i feel very fortunate to own it. Just wanted to share it with you, as I am very proud of it. And the guys responsible for helping Jacks widow.

Now my only problem I wrestle with it is, shoot it or just covet it!!

I'm lefty, I shoot 62#. I'll take. As you know a bow is made to be shot and not collect dust.

See how fast your problem was solved.  Just ship it to kingstaken and you will no longer need to stress.  :)

I myself am not a collecter and would have too shoot Otzi's bow if I had my hands on it and could get it braced.  Either way, Nice Bow one to have.

Brent   I have a Howatt Hunter 1976 58" made Yes 58" Hunters were made from 76-80.The wood is the same color and the red stripe is the same and lines.Do you know what year you have.Mine is fast and shoots great after 32 years.Kip

Nice piece of history there bro!! It'll be a shooter for sure. The older Howatt's were speedy and stable... no wonder Jack chose them to put his name on.

I see that it's a lefty which answers the question I asked in the PM.

Thanks guys! Kip I am ignorant of the years, Jack did these. But I am thinking in the mid 70's. Cool stuff, if I do say so myself
