Well my very first Traditional bow arrived today from Git- R - Done Archery  of Calgary Alberta .  A Hill Country Harvest Master by Roman Hershberger of Millersburg Ohio.

First of all let me say that that the bow is beautiful and beyond simple words.  The craftsmanship is superb, there are no glues lines to see. The bias cut camo limbs will simply blend into the background.

Martyn ( Red Dwarf ) showed me how to fletch some arrows up and we had a bit of shoot with it....WOW !!!!!!! It is smooth and silent.

This bow settled into my hand so well you would have thought it was made for me personally. It shoots where you look and I was so impressed I still have a smile on my face.

Thank You Dennis ( Git-R-Done Archery), Martyn ( Red Dwarf) and Roman Herschberger of Hill Country Bows.

I feel like a kid at Christmas and all I want to do is play with it.....LOL

I am stoked, I can hardly wait for morning to arrive so I can hear the hiss of some more arrows.        :goldtooth:              :goldtooth:              :goldtooth:

Here is a pic that Tollgate archery has on their site of a used one.

For your first Trad bow you picked a fine one, you may never want another, but I doubt that..lol. Enjoy, pick a spot, anchor, let'r rip and have fun!!!
In the beginner's mind there are many possibilities. In the expert's there are few...So the most difficult thing is always to keep your beginner's mind...This is also the real secret of the arts: always be a beginner.  Shunryu Suzuki

Sharp eyes there Dennis.....you are so right, I never even noticed the pic was different from mine.

Gotta run....there is a target butt out there just whining away to get shafted.....LOL

Those Hill Country bows look good! Congrats--let us know how the relationship goes.....

Roman makes a fine bow and is a real gentleman. I shot one of the prototypes of that bow for a few months and then a finished model. Fine shooting bows at a good price.
