Chris and I took the boat to the river last Friday. It had not been run in a few months but it fired up and did good. We checked several places tore up with pig sign with no pork seen. We road up river to another WMA called Flat Tub and got on pork withing minutes. The wind swirled and that was the end of that. We did see a lot of promising sign and will be back God willing again. Maybe next time with some fishing stuff, burner, pans and cornmeal as well as a tent or two for a couple days on the river. Here`s afew pics.

Looks mighty promising don`t it.RC

This time of year I really envy you guys in the South. Shirtsleeve weather and hogs to hunt!

Yep, I've enjoyed plenty of such hunts, and loved them all.  I can back empty handed most of the time, but wouldn't trade them for anything.  Thanks for sharing Robert!
I didn't claw my way to the top of the food chain to eat vegetables!

I named my boat "Johns Nightmare". He is one of my hunting buddies and the fella that started me out on the river. He kills a lot of pigs from the boat. I told him I was gonna cut the population down since I got a boat now.RC

Greetings RC!

Stickin' out over the bow of that boat looks to be a *new* bow with nice green catwhiskers -  unless you have applied some camo paint to either "Mojo" or "Doc"?

In addition to your nice rivercraft do have any additional equipment update for us?

Look forward to hearin' about the results of an extended outing in the future!
