Does anyone know of a bowyer who makes an English Longbow in the US or Canada. Looking for a serious bow not a show piece.
Fundamentally the marksman aims at himself

One Tree Wooden Bow Company (Canada) makes pacific yew longbows that are the nicest I've seen and shot. I think the site is   thewoodenbow.com.

Alan Boice, Liberty Bows, used to make a glass laminated bow patterned after the English longbow.  There's a fella in Alaska, who's name I can't remember, who made and probably is still making, beautiful horn tipped English longbows from yew.  He built these bows to shoot, but they were also beautiful show pieces.  I believe he lives in Wasilla, but I just can't come up with his name.  Maybe someone else can.  Edited after reading the next post.  East Texas Hillbilly has the name.  Welchman longbows.

E. Texas HillBilly

Check out Welchman longbows.com, they are very nice bows from what I've seen.

Belcher Bows. Jim Belcher is a second or third generation English bowyer who transplanted to Michigan. He makes beautiful bow. His English longbows are used in England for flight shooting competition. He purchased the Massie "Longhorn" line when Jeff Massie retired. Give Jim a call. He is a great guy and builds high performance bows.

Mike from  Maddog Traditional Archery  is making me a 72" ELB with horn nocks for $230.  It was originally going to be yew, but Mike couldn't find any from his suppliers, I ended up going with Osage instead.  I have been looking for a very traditional ELB for a while now but didn't want to pay beaucoup for it.  Here's an example from his website that mine should look like (with the addition of the horn nocks, of course).
