My grandpa and I want to start making me a 3 piece long bow. Where can I get some nice wood? And where can I go about getting a book or video of some sort to show us what to do. Any kind of info would be great. Thanks.

Jack,

Check out the bow maker's forum.  There's a bunch of  guys that can help you out.

One of two things will happen; it'll either work or it won't.

definately go to Bingham's for the instructional part unless you know someone close by who can help you.  Binghams also has exotic woods, but check out "westpenn hardwoods".  They've got a good selection and a good turnaround and they have great prices.  good luck.

Now then, get your weapons ~ your quiver and bow ~ and go out to the open country to hunt some wild game for me.  Gen. 27.3
