I would like to ask if there are any of you that shoot off a rest, if i cant my bow when i shoot will an arrow rest still work ok? thanks

ksbowman

I use a rest and get better arrow flite and my bow shoots quieter. There is no reason you can't  cant your bow, I shoot both ways with the bow completely vertical and canted.  Ben
I would've taken better care of myself,if I'd known I was gonna live this long!

When I shot of a rest, a standard flipper one, I would cant my bow and saw no problems.  I now shoot off the shelf covered with a bear skin covering.

I seem to be able to shoot instinctively a lot better than when I used an elevated rest.

THANKS FOR THE FEEDBACK FELLAS. APPRECIATE IT.

All my recurves are set up with a T-300 rest approximately 1/2" above the shelf.  I remove the spine point & replace it with a piece of rug rest.  I cant about 10 degrees with no problems at all and get great arrow flight...
