Well I contacted the gentleman of a Thunderstick MOAB I once owned and he is willing to sell it back to me.It was my first custom bow I ever had and I had taken my first trad deer with it.I'm really pumped to get it back.I have some Beman 500 Classics, and I was wondering if they will work out of a MOAB 51#@26" using some 150 gr tips.Anyone shooting a similar set-up?
Thanks for all the advice, and a big thanks to Steve Humphrey for allowing me to purchase the MOAB I once owned.

How long are your Bemans? If you cut them at 27"s you will need some more weight up front. If they're around 28"s you can try them with the 150's

I looked up the beman chart you will be fine .

Cool deal, Ya don't often hear of someone parting with a Thunderstick, I'm glad you were able to work it out to get your original back.
...stood alone on a montaintop, starin out at a great divide, I could go east, I could go West, it was all up to me to decide, just then I saw a young hawk flyin and my soul began to rise......

I have a moab that is 50lbs @ 27inches and the 500 spine works perfect for me. I ended up shooting a 28 inch arrow with a 275 grain tip.
The moabs are great bows. Good luck with yours.

I've found with mine, I can shoot a fairly wide range of arrows without any problems. My typical arrow is a hexpine shaft, 4 feather 28" in a 45-49 spine, 125 tip. I but if I nock up a 9/32 forgewood at 28" and 55# spine, they shoot fine too. Or a 45# 23/64 POC shaft, same result.

I have not tried carbons.
