Hi,

Does anyone know if the limbs of the Pronghorn T/D are interchangeable, or if we need to send back the riser to Herb to get the limbs fitted to it ?

Thanks,
Phil

I'm pretty sure you need to send riser to Herb. I like his bows so much, if I want more or less weight, I just order another bow.

Well, I just spoke to Herb the other day about this very thing, and the answer is YES, you do need to send him the riser.  What you do is order the limbs, and when your turn comes up he will let you know then you send the riser.  This way he only has it for about two weeks.

I know that is the way Herb does it...but I have several sets that interchange just fine with my risers...Doc

Thanks to all of you for your answers.

I'm thinking of ordering a 56" T/D. I have a 27" 1/2 draw length, would that be ok ? Would osage limbs be smooth enough, or would it be better to go with red elm ?

Thanks
Phil
