SHOOTO8S

John, how about adding BIKINIFLAUGE to your camo selection...I need a riser done   :)

Seriously...I need an Apogee riser done in Predator Deception! I'll give you a call this week.

Greg,

I know they do gunstock but not recievers.  I am sending a stock in shortly for dipping.

Thanks wingnut, I better give them a call

They also do scopes and barrels if they are removed from the receiver.

We have just updated the new pictures with the camo pattern names added to each bow limb pictured.
Please look at the Sponsor's Classified Section of this site.
Thanks - John and Lonnie,  Sipsey River

John,

On a 3 piece bow, can wooden limb butts be covered over and peeled off so the wood shows when done?

You can have any part masked off if you want.

By the way, M2D camo will be available soon as well as Nat Gear camo.

I like the idea of the camo Bikiniflauge. Or maybe a model with see the new see thru camo in a bikini!

if you were to build a new bow is it possible to just dip the fiberglass lams before you glue up the lams... this way you could see the wood lams inbetween
" you have done well to keep your hair when so many are after it"

Cherokee Scout

I am not sure about doing it that way. We did dip a bow but we masked off the edges of the limbs so you could see the woods in the sides of the limbs and the riser.
Only the front and back of the limbs were camoed.
I must add that it looked ok, but it was not as good looking as we had expected. I just this week resanded the bow and we are redipping the entire bow this time.

I think you could do it, but it would be easier to dip after it is glued up. I masked off everything except the front and back of a prototype longbow for John. Bow was zebrawood and bamboo with the wood showing. It was different but it would have looked better in all camo.

Turnaround time has been less than one week in most cases.

I'm seriously considering it. Thinking about reshaping the grip first though.

Now then, get your weapons ~ your quiver and bow ~ and go out to the open country to hunt some wild game for me.  Gen. 27.3

I had Lonnie do a bow for me and was very happy with the results.  I shipped the bow to him on a Wednesday and on Saturday I was called and informed the bow was in the mail and on its way back!  How's that for turn around!?!  I did the "Predator Spring Green" pattern and I've had a lot of comments about it.  Finish is very durable (used it @ Ray Hammonds to help push thorn bushes out of the way) and I think it's going to last quite awhile!

Go for it, you won't regret it.  It's like getting a brand new bow to play with!

Sipsey River web site is closed. When I sold retail portion of Sipsey River we shut down web site. We are building a new site for the camo dipping.
