Hello,

Thinking about getting a BBO longbow in an English style (no r/d).  What length would you suggest? I am 5'8" and have a 27" draw.  Thanks.

Shinken

NTT, in the English style (and Howard Hill)  I prefer 68" plus bow lengths and I have a 27" draw.  A lot of straight bow shooters will likely chyme in with 66" as a good length, but I personally enjoy 68" plus for a smoother draw on a straight bow.

Thanks for the input.  I am gravitating towards 66" due to my height.

I'm exactly the same as your height and draw length. I have a 68" Liberty ELB 54#@27 and a 66" HH Halfbreed 50#@27. They are both excellent shooters and I wouldn't change the length of either one. That being said, if I was to order a new bow I would probably order a 66".  66" is a good compromise for someone of your height.
And in the end of our exploring we shall return to the place where we started and know that place for the first time.

Thanks for the input.  Looks like 66" would be the way to go.
