Ever been completely bowled over by a new bow? I mean 'open-mouth-shock-wasn't-expecting-that' blown away?

If not, try a Kanati.

I just received one, an hour ago, from Elksong that I traded a fast recurve for & I can't get the grin off my face!
This thing is FAST! I mean like, up there with Morrison fast. It's by far & away the lightest weight bow I've ever owned. Even wth my 4-arrow EFA quiver strapped to the off-side it's lik a feather. A fast feather. A fast feather with no handshock at all that hits exactly where I'm looking & stacks me a 3" group at 20yds!!!

The grip is natural, instinctive, secure & instantly repeatable (Very Shrew-esque) This is a keeper for sure! Can't wait to hunt with it now  :D

Jason, you have my heartfelt thanks & eternal gratitude Brother  :notworthy:

What are the specs, I think I may have owned that one too.  They are a great bow and a great value.

Im a big Kanati fan  , had my Kanati only one week and killed a very nice buck with it at 25 yards . Its a very easy longbow to shoot and not picky about arrow spine or maybe I just got it right with the first arrow combo . The Kanati is just flat out a hunters bow for sure .

Can't agree more.  It is my second favorite behind my Cheyenne and I've tried a few.

Absolutley Andy.

You know how some bows are exactly as yu'd expect? Like you buy a Shrew because you know the grip is excellent. You buy a Carbon/foam Morrison because you know it's fast.
With the Kanati I was expecting it to be slower & heavier. I mean actionwood generally is fairly heavy compared to most hardwoods & with plain old bamboo limb cores (After shooting carbon anyway) I wasn't expecting blistering speed. Adequate, but not 'fast'.

It's really surpried me how nice this little bow is! It's really simple with no fancy woods but the build quality is just amazing. The grip fits like a custom tailored kid glove. The finish is wierd, it's a sort of textured laquer that has zero reflection & just feel 'right' in the hand.

I suppose that I am overdrawing the bow slightly (JK recommend the 58" bow for upto a 29" draw & I'm honking it back to 30") but it's really, really smooth & there's no stack at all. If it was a 2-piece, I really think it'd be my 'Perfect Bow' It really is that good.

Hey Rob! If you can stretch out a little more at full draw you could probably get the limb tips to touch. That would make it a lot faster!!

I sold the one I had and ordered a bit lighter weight. I can't wait to get it. I have owned a  Shrew and I also have a Griffin and they are great, great bows but these are great too and less money and a lot less wait time. Very nice product. If you like a griffin and you don't want to wait 18 months, this is the way to go but I don't think you will be sacrificing anything unless maybe your into fancy woods.
