60" recurve.  Belly mount, dymondwood riser, carbon, ceramic, fast, quiet.  The only problem is I have to learn to shoot it inside of 20 yards.  I hit high with her up close.

Wally,

David has too many Black Swans anyway, so you really ought to pass that bow along to someone like me who has never shot a Black Swan. It looks too good to be hidden up in the Vermont hills anyway. It needs to be down here on the Oklahoma plains where people can see it from miles away and appreciate its beauty.    :saywhat:

Beautiful bow HATCHASER!

Do you know what the difference in speed is between the recurve limbs and the hybrid...I believe the recurve is faster but not sure by how much?

Thanks.

vermonster13

The new generation recurve limbs are about 8fps faster

Wally, definitely a nice looking grip on it. The Black swan longbow I shot a while back grip looked and felt like a rounded 2x4. I ain't but a few minutes from you, maybe we can meet and shoot sometimes.

This grip is about the same.  No palm swell and flat in the back.  Very squared off, but it is hard to hold wrong.  When I first felt the grip I wasn't sure but I really shoot it well.  This grip is about 3/8" higher than the one peice, but it measures about the same around the throat and heel.  It is just angled forward and puts your hand in a neutral position.  That is the best way I know to explain it.  I am working in VA and don't know how long I will be here but next time I am home I'll get up with you.
