Hey ND terminator, they DO make lefties,. I have one. I think it shoots great but I already got rid of my widow and palmer so I cant compare it them side by side. Thats why I asked what everyone else thought. If you go to a hoyt dealer they can probably get you lefty in four weeks. I got a camo lefty in just under four weeks and I am ordering another one in black.

Bill Tell, do the limbsavers on the outside of the limbs really work that well? First time I've seen em mounted that way. I got mine on the inside of the limbs.

You know I moved them around and tried them in all different spots.  I could feel a difference with them on there but not really a huge difference were I put them.  It shouldn't rob the bow of any speed in this spot.  So I put them there.

The one thing that I have done that has made the most difference for this bow is I went to a 3 bunch 9 strand T+ string that is double served.  Now all I have on it is some string leaches.

All I hear now is a shuuuush.  I'm talking whisper quiet and way fast.  When I first switched over I was shooting a good 2 inches higher at 12 yards.

You may want to read the huge topic on here about OL's 4 strand string.

I have and I built an eight strand string out of 8125 and I just felt like it would be too easy to damage, so I chickened out and took it off. Maybe I'll try another one.

I know what you mean.  I had a six strand and I felt the same way.  I have tryed 6, 9, and 12.  So far I really like the nine.

I have a buzz going through my riser after the shot I cant seem to get rid of. Its not loud but I can feel it you guys have this or are yours dead in hand after the shot. I made a 16 strand 8125 recently for it. I have moved limbsavers all over and couldn't stop it. Its not really bad but one of those things you wanna figure out and overcome it I guess. Any Suggestion???

I had the same issue with a Dorado in the shop. I played with the brace height and got it stop. I can check the brace height I used and post it tomorrow for you if you want.

PS Here what happened when I decide to "play with the Dorado" on day at the shop

Where did you find an arrow that long????    Good job! Yah check it if you would, I'm 7 7/8 now. Shoots great just that slight metal riser twang that I want to get rid of.

I don't know if you have done this already or not?  Put mole skin under the limbs on the riser and wrap the bolt with teflon tape.

My BH is 7 3/4

How heavy are your arrows?  Are your nocks too tight?

Hoyt bows take more work to get quiet then others but you can get it done.

My CX Heritage weigh in at 531 grns. I'm shootin a #45'er. I think I'll try the mole skin, I did this when I had a Gamemaster, actually I used cork. The Dorado was so much more quiet out of the box than my GM that I didn't play with it much now I wanna tinker again.
