Gang,

I've read/been told its best to use a gas flame to mount a broadhead onto a screw in adapter.  I guess it cuts down on residue and whatnot.

I'm heading to the hardware store this morning to look for something that will work.....just wanted to see if you have any ideas on something that has worked well for you.

Thanks!

I use a torch that plumbers use to sweat copper pipe - always works good for me

I have a gas stove. If you don't, alcohol burns cleanly.

I have a small propane torch that I have used for decades.

Thanks for the responses!  I'm going to give a small torch a shot...

Berz-O-Matic makes a very small butane torch -- about 5" long -- that works very well for mounting ponts, broadheads and such.  It is refilled easily with fuel for butane lighters.  Burns the crap out of ya if you don't let it cool down long enough!  Good luck!
