I don't like a quiver on my bow while hunting/shooting.  So, with that in mind, can someone recommend a good quiver that will attach to my backpack (I elk hunt), can be easily removed, will not swing around all over the place and stay out of the way while shooting?  Is there such a quiver?

Any info is appreciated.

Not sure what type pack you use, or if it really matters, but I tie a quiver to my shoulder strap, where it attaches to the pack and then again at the bottom where the waist strap attaches to the pack.  This keeps the arrows in a comfortable and easily reached location, just behind your stringhand shoulder.

Look at the Arrowmaster or Highnoon Hunters stalker.

Take a look at Safari Tuff Arrowmaster, Rod is a sponsor here and makes a top notch quiver! Mine attaches easily to my tree stand I don't see why you couldn't do the same with your pack!

also Mark Baker's "quiver caddy" for on your belt....

This is what I use now; a homemade GFA type made from an old Selway bow quiver. It would easily attach to your back pack and when slung over your shoulder can be by your side or swung back out of the way.

i am surprised no one mentioned rancho safari catquiver packs.mine has a detachable quiver that can hang from the included shoulder strap and be worn in any number of ways. you should check 'em out

If you can find a Catquiver, I recommend it. I use a Catquiver 3 for elk hunting. You can carry plenty of 'stuff' along with quite a few arrows.
