Ozark Shadows, It sounds like a walnut hitting the ground.

My wife and I each shoot DAS recurves with Win&Win limbs. The bows are so quiet that we often get comments about them at the shoots we attend. They are both 58".

DAS and a Sovereign Ballistick are the two quietest I've owned.

I've owned a bunch, but in my opinion, the Whisperstick is about as quiet as they come.

Hasn't been mentioned yet but it must be something about those static limbs.  They Dryad Orion is the quietest recurve I've shot with or without string silencers.

My Bob Lee Signiture Series is just a bit quieter than my Schafer Silvertip.  This has got me thinking too, I wonder if core woods have any thing to do with quietness.

Marriah Thermal, although my Rose Oak Wildcat is very quiet as well, but the Thermal is the most quiet bow I have ever shot.

After some tuning and a set of limbsavers. My kodiak Hunter was the quietest bow I've ever shot period.

Same here. Hands down my Thermal is the quietest recurve I've experienced.

I have shot 2 Toelke 60" 54lb.@29.5" take down recurves, one loaner and the bow he made for me with cat whiskers and 11 to 1 arrows . I shoot 3-d and have been around many other makes and to me second place is not even close. I will readily admit I am a big fan of Dan and his bows but I have received enough compliments about the bow's quietness to know it's not just me.

Shot an Assenheimer that my buddy owned that was extremely quiet, also owned a 60" Zipper that was equally quiet. Zipper had cat whiskers silencers and beaver on the Assenheimer.

I've owned a lot of custom recurves and have shot many more on a trial basis, but hands down the quietest is the DAS.
