Was wondering what you guys thought of posting successful harvest pics. I like to see what other people are taking, but was wondering if ya'll thought it was bragging or being conceited.

John3

I don't think so at all.... I too love to see the animals and the country taken in.

Posting pics is a great encouragement to all trad hunters.  Also, seeing what equipment (bows, stands, broadheads, etc) is a help too.  I enjoy the success of others.

A camera is just as important as your bow and arrows on a hunt. But i gotta get a digital camera so i can post pics.I have a 35mm right now. From what i`m told,a 35mm won`t work.

Braggin...naaaaa....but I also think anything you take with trad equipment is a trophy myself.

I think it's great myself.....kinda helps you be there with them...now I just need some of my own

Now some pics could be better presented.....I don't think an animal all covered in blood and blood all over the face is a great shot myself, but that's me.

I think they can be presented in a way to show respect to the animal.....

just my thoughts

I call it being proud of what you have taken BIG or small. And it helps on the story.

NOT posting pics is a hangin' offense.

If it was fair chase and taken with traditional equipment then by all means post pic's and tell the story. As long as the pic's are respectfully done.

I think posts should (almost) always have pics!

novahunterpa

I now wish i took more pics over the years then I did, on many hunts I went on I never had a camera.  I have some pics but most are on film, only really the last 2 years started to take digital pics, so I have some, I now carry a small camera all the time when hunting(something I wish I did long ago)

joe ashton

I don't think you should be allowed to post a success story, unsuccessful story, new or new to me bow story without pics. It may be braggin but believe it or not that's ok!!!!! Picture's make the story that much better!!!!!
