Jeremy, we are all in Fairfield county, and probably leaving through New Fairfield to rt 22.  If we take 1 vehicle its going to be tight already.  If we take 2 there should be room.  We are leaving 7-8 Friday night and staying at the comfort inn.

Peter, thanks for the info.  In the time it would take me to get to New Fairfield I'd be most of the way up to Shawn's     Guess I'm going solo again.

Yup, I think the host would like to win those!! Everything is coming together nicely. Porta-Potty will be delivered the day before, chairs and tables will be picked up on Friday as well. Damon,Jamie,Curt and I will be seting up friday. I still have to get hay bales, and some plywood for our shooting area. Curt and I will pick Doug up at the airport Friday evening as well!! Lets also not forget, that from it's humble beginnings, if not for Joan Leonard and her family opening her home to us all, this hunt wouldn't be antything like what it's become.  No doubt your Mom is looking down on you with pride Shawn, God bless her.

Time to post the dates for the '09 Maine Moose hunt.......like past years, I apply for a Maine Moose permit each year, and will name a subpermittee to hunt with me should I be lucky enough to get drawn. Rules are you must be a JLMBH participant, you must be available during hunt dates and if drawn we will hunt with trad bows only.  Dates for the hunt this year are for either Sept 28-Oct 3, or Oct 12-17th.  So if you want a chance, make sure those dates are clear, I will take names and draw them immediately after the raffle on Saturday evening.  First name drawn will will be the subpermittee, second will be an alternate.....

I live in westchester NY and drive up 22 right past New Fairfield. I'll be alone and have room. I'm not sure if i'm leaving Friday night or early saturday AM
