I like the idea of the small prize targets. Alot of action before we go huntin'! I'll have some feathers, nocks, points and them there Skipper Stoppers    for anyone who hits and breaks wood on my Wand Target.

Maybe Jamie can post a picture of them again.....

*** Are we gonna NEED Flu-Flu Arrows? Is there a reason Guru and Jamie are makin' some up? Gotta let me know... Please...     I was gonna try to keep my list of stuff simple, but.....

Well... All you fellas must know me by now. Half the fun is loading the truck with more than I need. Guess I'm just lucky that way!   ;)   Yea, Right.

Everyone can bring some flu-flus we may need them. The small prize table is always a great thing to have. I have some feathers, nocks and a few other things. For the guys who are new, we do this as a little incentive for shooting the arrow munching steel and the running rabbit shot. If ya beat the steel or hit a running bunny(plywood disk launched at high speed across the ground) you pick a prize from the table. Dates are Feb. 21st. and 22nd. Address is 16 Old School Rd. Selkirk NY 12158(mapquest it) The order of events is as follows: Arrive as close to 7am. as possible, we meet and have some fun shooting in the yard, around 9:30am. I will get the youth hunt started, and Cindy and the girls will start to prepare lunch, youth hunt will be from roughly 9:45 to 11:00, lunch will be served starting around 10:45 and go until 11:30, we will hit the old road and start hunting no later than noontime. We get back at dark and dinner will be served(roughly 5:30)than raffle time than bedtime!!  Sunday same as Sat. arrive by 7am, than shoot in the yard until 9 or so, if enough interest another short youth hunt and off and hunting by 10 or so. We hunt until dark for the strong at heart!! Raffle table is looking incredible!! Bring lots of money and buy lots of tickets, we want to beat last yaers total!! Lets do it for the kids and lets kill some bunnies!!! OOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH YEAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!! Shawn

P.S. We are getting another 8-12"s tonight!! Keep it up-Chuck!! OOOOHHHHHHHH YEAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!! Shawn

Hey, Keith, how is my bow coming along? I'm working on the piggy bank but I need pictures of the progress.     :bigsmyl:
Here is where I am as of tonight.

Bow outline done, handle roughed in, main belly facets done, floor tillering in progress.

Will start long string tillering this week.  Should have it out to full draw by the end of the weekend....... if it don't break

Gotcha Pete, Thanks.

The anticipation is killing me!!
I tried testing those skipper stoppers on bunnies...but I missed....again. Twice.  :goldtooth:

Which reminds me, those two shots were when the drivers were a good ten minutes out still...if you are a sitter, always be ready. Some of these bunnies are trained and take off as soon as the first foot fall. Others arent, and will hold tight and take off under foot. Point is...ya never know when you will get a shot. Ask Stone Knife about his philosophy.  :D

Seeing as everyone's talking about all the great stuff they're donating, I thought I'd mention the arrows my brother and I made for the bunny hunt. They're 3Rivers new Traditional Only carbons, in .400 spine. They've got florescent yellow tiger wraps with two flourescent yellow and two flourescent yellow barred feathers, all tipped with 200-grain Hammer points. Figured this was a universal-enough setup to be used by whoever wins them for a little Sunday bunny slinging. Hope to post some pictures soon...

Hi, I am in for the bunny hunt with Pete from Connecticut.
Work is for people who don't know how to hunt.  People who don't know how to hunt, don't eat well.
