I am very excited to have my first custom TD Recurve. It is a 64", 54# at 32.5"draw Recurve Billet that Dan Toelke made me that I finished. Riser is Bubinga and the limbs have Bamboo Cores with Juniper Veneers finished with Tbird Satin. Dan Toelke is an awesome guy that helped me alot and would always take my call. I hope the pictures turn out, she shoots very well.

Killdeer

Pretty combination. The finish looks super smooth!

Killdeer   :thumbsup:
Long, long afterward, in an oak I found the arrow, still unbroke;
And the song, from beginning to end, I found again in the heart of a friend.

In the beginner's mind there are many possibilities. In the expert's there are few...So the most difficult thing is always to keep your beginner's mind...This is also the real secret of the arts: always be a beginner.  Shunryu Suzuki

crandog

How did you do your catwhiskers like that?

Bob L.

Bill,
Yeah Im 6'6" and shoot a 34" bop aluminum shaft, first bow that didnt slap the crap out of my bow arm, good thing I went with a 64".

Crandog: Dan toelke's son Jared made the string that came with the bow, I notice if you look close he tied serving string on both sides of the catwhiskers on the string to prevent slippage. He makes a nice endless loop, I ordered 2 more from him with colors customized to match the bow colors.
