draw length and peak performance

if you are say a 25-26'' draw and want to buy a used bow say a shrew for example and it would read 59#@28''

i know you lose poundage for every inch of draw and say the 59# bow is 49-50 @ a 25'' draw will that bow perform the same as a bow built to spec at 49-50@25''

does it make a difference  

if it doesnt thats really cool,i guess if thats the case any bow could be shot a couple inches over or under but im sure the line is drawn somewhere though

There shouldn't be any difference or if there is I don't think it would be noticeable.  Now if you had one bow that was 50# @ 25" and another that was 50# @ 30" and drew both to 50 lbs the 30 inch draw bow will shoot faster by virtue of the increased length of its powerstroke.  Joseph
