Just wondering how many folks got traditional bowhunting gear for Christmas? And if so, what?

 

I didn't get anything directly related to archery equipment but I did receive a Filson Mackinaw vest made from 26 oz. wool (like the one pictured above). It's a perfect hunting accessory and I couldn't be happier. I'll be taking to the local seamstress next week to have a Compton Traditional Bowhunters patch sewn on.

Wow.  I got one very much like that but in green.  I am happy as can be.  It seems very well made and I can't wait to try it out.

Well, the bow, I have coming in the mail soon, can be a Christmas gift to me. It's a used mid '90s Shrew recurve with snake skins! Plus I may get some aluminum Flu Flu arrows too! Can it get any better?

My boys got me an ASAT camo leafy suit, plus I also got an AMS retriever reel and a new carp shootin arrow,a Buck model 110 hunting knife,string silencers, judo points and a Cricket clicker for my bow. All in all, I think I did pretty good.

Bowhunters are pretty easy to Christmas shop for, thats for sure.

Jules paid for my truck rental for me, for my February Hog jaunt to West Texas!  :D  Better than any 10 pairs of socks! (I was planning on hiring an Economy class car, she paid for a nice shiny F250 for me)

My little boy gave me a StormyKromer hat and Santa gave me some feathers and broadheads!  Can't beat that.

Couple of new hunting knives, a new block target, and a new set of ILF limbs.

Not really any trad gear...but this will be spending a lot of time in the woods! My wife got me a Canon FS-10 digital video camcorder!! SWEET!!

My son got me the book "Hunting with Fred Bear". I pretty happy about that!

iv had a good year my girlfriend payed for a new shrew on order from Ron La Clair but that'l take a year to get here for my 21st birthday a few weeks ago,

then for Christmas i got a Filson mackinaw cruiser jacket (BEST jacket iv ever owned wow its nice) ....and well i couldn't help myself and bought another shrew for Christmas from a great fellow here on tradgang, that should be here shortly cant wait.

I got the book Trailing A Bear from PapaFrank. Very cool.
