Below is the SanMarco recurve I got for Christmas. Yes that's right a recurve. Frank used 30 year aged yew with 35-50 rings per inch. I have to say it's very smooth drawing and fast. So far it's incredibly smooth shooting too, I can't wait to get the silencers on it. When I first picked it up I was amazed at how light it is. I'm not sure of it's exact weight, but I'd say "feather" is an accurate description. It's #47 @ 28" and 66"

Sorry for some of the pictures being out of focus.

Frank said there's a possibility of future recurves.

That is one nice looking recurve. I'd bet she's a sweet shooter, too.

Just doing a search out of curiosity, and stumbled upon this beauty... I know I'm late in saying, but this is a magnificent bow!

Beautiful piece of work right there.

Is this something that Frank is offering now, or did you just happen to luck into it?

Oh yeah, put me in line if you ever decide to part ways with it   :readit:

Can you post a pic of the tips?  Those San Marco tips are always pieces of art, and I'm curious how they look on a recurve.

I met Frank a few years back at The Whittingham Shoot. Very nice man and a very talented bowyer. I believe he used to build guitars as well. Good Luck with your new SanMarco.

Alex,

It was great meeting you at Frank's seminar this weekend.

Sure were a lot of folks drooling over your bow, as well as Prototype #3.

Now if we can just get Frank to make some more.........
