Our beloved Killdeer has been a mentor to me of sorts into the world of traditional gear.  I've bowhunted for 20 years, but am certainly a newbie when it comes to hunting with a recurve.  She has provided much information, guidance and encouragement.  Just wanted to publicly say  thanks, Kathy!  There have been others equally generous with their advice. What a great site. My goal is to practice, practice and make my first traditional kill this next season.  Here are some arrows Killie recently made up for me...fly like darts.  (she is equally talented with her photography skills)   :notworthy:

She has helped me along my journey as well. She is a special person. I am sure our paths will cross again at the Baltimore shoot.

She is a very nice person and a generous one at that.

Y'all had me bawling like a baby.

And the song, from beginning to end, I found again in the heart of a friend.

Be careful, Killie. Bawling in those conditions can cause ice cycles to form on the eye lids and and a problem in seeing where you are going.   :biglaugh:

Merry Christmas too you!!
