Here is the JD Berry Renaisannce longbow came today. I bought it from the classifides here and had to take some pics. 64" and 62#@28. The bow is simply stunning. 7 laminations. Looks like yew limbs. Don't know what the core lams are. Arrow inlays on the back. Nicest bow I've ever seen. Haven't had a chance to shoot it yet.

Congrtas.
Berry's bows are absolutely stunning lQQkers and great shooters.
The problem with this bow is you may never want to take it out to shoot..LOL.
Good luck..

Very nice bow. After you tune it in you might change your mind on brining it into the woods. JD's bows are sweet shooters and build to hunt.
Best of luck with it.

Maybe I will take it in the woods after I shoot it a while. I really like my 65# Saluki longbow for hunting. Its fast, light and can take the brush well.

I only have 6 Jamie, not counting the 56# bamboo backed osage that's on the way!  :bigsmyl:

Just remember, B50 only on JD's bows.  The core looks to be primarily yew with locust or maybe maple. Might have a lam of black walnut there too.  Hard to tell from the photo.  That combo should pull stiff from the start and smoke an arrow. Great bows for sure!  If you hunt, it belongs in the woods. I've killed lots of critters with JD's bows.

Brian, Maybe it's something on the east coast, but I wouldn't if I were you...You'll be pissed if something happens..
It's like wearing ya Sunday best to hunt with..
I know it's not worth anyhting if ya don't use it, so use it for 3-D's etc., somewhere where ya don't have to lay it down or put a string on it to raise and lower from tree stand..
But then again, Berry can refinish it for you I think the last time I spoke to hime for about $100 +/- depending on what type of finish is on it.
