I logged onto a site that sold javelina calls, has anyone used them?
I have used a regular preditor call with some success, especially after shooting one, then called the herd back for another shot.
Would like to try one if anyone has good reports about them.

The best call is the sound corn hitting the ground  :D

You are exactly right, when you bust up a group they scatter like a covey of quail. Blow the call as loud and as fast as you can. But be ready, you might be run over by them!
I have done it a lot, it works very well.
Remember, very loud and very fast, but be ready!

I agree with that.  Actually I poured some sour milk in the corn bucket and left it in the sun a few days.  Hold your nose when you open the bucket.  I had one come out of the brush following the smell - right up to my PU.

I've used a couple of kinds of Javelina calls over the years, can't really remember who made them, but the preditor call has always work just fine.
