Just wanted to say Hi to everyone.  I've been lurking on the site for a while now and finally decided it was time to register.   Started shooting a recurve early in the spring.  I can't believe what the switch has done for me.  It has put the "fun" back into shooting.  I can't get enough.  I was curious to see how many out there have made the switch like me and why.  I made the switch because I wasn't getting the satifaction out of shooting that I used to.  Now I go out and shoot just for the sake of watching the arrows fly.  Its relaxing again. Hey, I even managed to get my first trad deer this year.

yup,
welcome aboard. I switched for the simplicity, more enjoyment, more challenge, and more zen-if there is such a thing, a light weight bow!(mass that is), only me to blame for bad shot-no excuses, no gizmos, history, and on and on.
I don't regret and still have my wheel bow to pass on to my son (it's old, and pretty in my eyes but also worthless on the market-checkmate squire-2 wood riser and glass/maple limbs)
