Another cold snowy night here so I got my camera out. If you have pics of your bow room, den, trophy area and or bow stuff cubby area please share them.

Parts of my bow room.. I'm running out of space and this stuff has spilled out into my living room. I think I almost need to pull everything down and start again with a bit of order to it all...

I used to keep a horse near Westminster...now I just visit for the steam show. I am so wanting to see everybody's cool displays, hoping it will inspire me to throw most of my junk offa the balcony to make room for a redo.

Spilled into the living room? HAHH! I cleared out the living room in order to prepare walls and ceiling for paint. "Honey, could you help me with the ceiling? I have all the walls done."

Skip lightly down the primrose path. It is ten years later and the painting never happened. We got a roof leak instead. The condo association sent Mudbutt out to redo the drywall. He was mostly a no-show and made more mess than he fixed, so we said never mind. We'll finish and paint. "Sweetie, could you help me with the ceiling"

Now there is another roof leak in another part of the condo, it is dripping merrily as I type. They have fixed that spot twice, and now they must do it again, I fear. The walls are unpainted, the carpet was old when we moved in twenty-five years ago, and the living room, alas, has refilled. The room that I filled with living-room stuff has never regurgitated its load and so, well, I am stuck. But I can look at your rooms and learn, be inspired, and consider emulating your oases of the heart. Post a pic? I wouldn't want to depress you. Shock you. Destroy the mystique.

Very nice, JDS!   Here's mine.  A work in progress...we moved into this house a couple of years ago.  It is great to have a room to put all the huntin' stuff in and not feel guilty.           Of course, I am getting some "spill over" as well.  I really like that wood stove and boar mount, Frank.

Where in Westminster did you board ur horse?? it had to be in the last 15 years cuz before that they were not allowed     it was a dairy operation only in every direction as far as you could see.(simple life back then) My grandfather said they were hay burners an I could not have one, waste of $ he said. I wish more than anything he was still with us. Back to the post.. Killdeer i believe it`s time to pull out the wipe out an use ur womanly powers to get Mudbutt to paint the ceiling. Now shame on me wishing that kind of wrath on another man, but sometimes you have to do what you have to do:) And i would like see some of ur bow stuff or trad accomplishments, no mater how big or small,they are all trophy's an you should be proud!

Nice job, Biggie.  When my wife got pregnant with our first, it was time to add on to the house and so I added on a den/trophy room/office...doing much of the work myself after a shyster contractor screwed me over and left the project undone with most of my money.  Actually two rooms in one.  These photos are a bit old and there's been a couple new additions plus some rearranging, but hope you enjoy.  I know I sure do.  When I need to be out in the woods, but can't, this is where I retreat...

One piece of advice, build it bigger than you think you'll need!  Seriously.
