Since I have started making and shooting cane arrows, there seems to be no other pleasure that I like better.  I by no means make the best arrow out there, but I have come to be able to make very functional ones.  I would like to start a collection of "harvest from a cane arrow collection" Here is the deal.

To start with, I will make 6 arrows for the year of 2009 to be given out to hunt with.  These would have trade points on them for now, since I can not knapp that well yet. These arrows will be sent to six individuals by way of a drawing, and will be made to their specs as well as I can get them.  

The end result will be that I get the arrow back from the harvest with pictures and a brief story to start a "my cane arrow harvest"  book to be passed on to my grandson at some time later in life.

Like I said, I am not the best cane maker, but what you will receive will be a very functional arrow. Anyone interested just put you name in, and I will draw the names on New Years Day for the winners.

Please put me in! And I hope you aren't gonna die before I do. It takes me a long time to get around to killing anything with an arrow. Or anything else, come to think of it. I could always just put a glue-on on an arrow that you gave me at ATAR. You were right, one was too stiff, the other was pretty even-tempered.

You make a fine arrow, and I get a smile all big and bright inside when I look at the work you did on these two.
