I am brand new to archery and have learned quite a bit from lurking in the forum, so thanks!
Second, my daughter is now interested in trying a traditional bow.
I just bought a Bear "little bear" for her it is a LH 20# @ 24" recurve.
Her draw is right about 20"
I wonder if any one can help me with an arrow selection.

Sorry, I can't help.  If I were in your situation, I'd probably contact one of the suppliers that offer kid's arrows and do as they reccomend.  Some of the larger suppliers, like 3rivers, will have them.

1/4" dowels can be made into good kids arrows.

Easton Jazz arrows - 1214 is the size needed. They have 45 grain glue in points and G nocks are needed for them.

Gold Tip makes several youth arrows.  The Falcon, Lighting, Genesis, and some economical fiberglass arrows.

I have a 7 year old daughter with the same bow. I picked up some cheap kids' arrows at the local archery store, the kind like you used in PE class or boy scouts, with the crimped-on points.  I replaced those points with 75 grain field points from 3Rivers and adjusted length until the flight looked good.  Later we re-fletched with 4" parabolics (they came with 2") just to stabilize them a bit.

I would also second the suggestion to check on 3Rivers kids' arrow selection. Just realize you may need to make minor adjustments to length or point weight for good tuning.

I think I bought mine from Rose City.  I bought the shafts and dipped and crested them with him.  He had a ball, until he found out I didn't have an endless supply of paint colors.  Then we spliced feathers and got them ready to shoot.
But, look around and see if you can find some cheapos on the internet or locally.
