Anyone shot both of these bows and have an opinion? Also is the DA and Vcon the same riser with just different limbs or is it a totally different design??

I shot a friends death adder...I want that bow! It is a smooth shooter, and I seem to have shot it well. I havent shot the Vyperkahn

I have both...the Death Adder is noticeably slower than the Hycurve but is very smooth drawing and is quieter than the Hycurve (to me)...i will have to check the risers but i think the Death Adder is a little "fatter"...hope this helps a little. i haven't tried to see if the limbs will interchange.

I have not shot the Hycurve yet, but a buddy of mine had a death adder.  Awesome bow.  Chris is no longer making the Death Adder at this time so if you are looking to buy a new bow you would have to order a viperkahn with the longbow limbs.

Two years ago, I had a used V-kahn that pulled very smoothly and was reasonable fast and accurate. If the weight had not been too much, I would still have it.

This is my pick over the DA.

I've got the hycurve and longbow in a Vyperkahn.Longbow is very quiet but the hycurve can be quiet if you change the string from the original one.The hycurve is alot smoother draw.

I've had a DA and a Hycurve.  I now have the VK longbow.  I had a 2001 model DA.  It had a square feel to it, but it was a great shooter.  Slower than the Hycurve, but much quieter.

The riser on the Hycurve I had (2003 model) is almost just like the one I have now.  I believe it's for sale in the classifieds now.
